Susan E. Padley
|
Ms. Padley concentrates her practice in environmental and real property law with particular emphasis on real property transactions, brownfield redevelopment, zoning and land use. She has represented purchasers, sellers and lenders in the disposition and redevelopment of properties, including brownfield sites, as well as in state and federal enforcement actions. Ms. Padley also works with clients on zoning actions, planned unit developments and other land use issues. She has been selected as a Michigan Super Lawyer in 2006 and 2008.
Ms. Padley received a B.A. from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from Wayne State University Law School. She is a member of the Oakland County and American Bar Associations as well as the State Bar of Michigan and its Environmental, Real Property, Probate and Trust sections.
Ms. Padley has been a faculty member of the Institute of Continuing Legal Education, Executive Enterprises Inc., Government Institutes Division of ABS Group, Lorman Education Service and an associate member of the graduate faculty at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She is a member of the Environmental Subcommittee of the State Bar Real Property Section and frequently lectures on environmental and land use issues.
