Ms. Gretchko concentrates her practice in creditors' rights and commercial litigation. She has represented nearly every constituency in bankruptcy courts around the country, including secured creditors, unsecured creditors' committees, landlords, licensors of intellectual property, business debtors and trustees, and has litigated many of the issues which arise in the context of bankruptcy law. She has lectured extensively for many organizations on various creditors' rights issues. Ms. Gretchko also has experience in real estate litigation.

She received a B.A., with honors, from the University of Michigan in 1976 and was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. She received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Detroit, where she was awarded the National Order of the Barrister and an elected member of the Justice Frank Murphy Honor Society. In addition, Ms. Gretchko was an associate editor of the University of Detroit's Journal of Urban Law. As a recent adjunct professor at Wayne State University Law School, she taught Bankruptcy Law and Creditors' Rights.

Ms. Gretchko was a member of the Advisory Committee of the Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. She is currently a member of the Business Law Advisory Board for the Institute of Continuing Legal Education, and a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, where she is a contributing editor to "Last in Line," a column in its monthly journal. She is a former council member and secretary of the Real Property Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan and was chair of the Oakland County Bar Association Creditors' Rights Committee.
