Carl R. Klein

Mr. Klein has over thirty years of experience specializing in corporate and securities law along with merger and acquisition transactions. His legal career began as a staff attorney with the Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington D.C. where he served for five years.
Mr. Klein has assisted clients with: compliance with Federal and state securities laws; public and private securities offerings; corporate governance and shareholder matters; general business and contractual issues; the purchase, sale or combination of business entities; and bank or other financing. He has advised buyers and sellers, issuers and underwriters, along with borrowers and lenders over the course of his practice.
Mr. Klein received his B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of Finance and Commerce in 1967 and a J.D. from the Indiana University School of Law in 1970. He is admitted to practice in Illinois and Washington, D.C. Mr. Klein is a past Chairman of the Securities Law Committee of the Chicago Bar Association and a member of the American Bar Association.
